Question blue food

My mother has always said that food comes in every color EXCEPT blue. No natural food is colored blue. Not even a blueberry. So why do you think it is so appealing to a 3 year old? By the way, Pop bought these, NOT me.
At least Duncan's is a lovely shade of artificial neon orange...

So much for no "sugar drinks" in between meals....I think the solution is to have them brush their teeth about five times a day :-)

I remember the days of sprinklers and Flavor Ice.

Natural blue food? I can't think of one, but then no ever thought of Flavor Ice as being natural. Regardless, cool move Pop. ;)

I like the idea of brushing more often, as Dr. Kelly may not continue to be so generous.

Actually, I would have to agree with the increased brushing. Dr. Kelly said it's not the amount of sugar, but yet the frequency. If your going to eat 10 candy bars, eat them all at once rather than one every hour (at least as far as your DENTAL health is concerned). Then your mouth can recover, your saliva can clean the mouth and return to it's natural state (and I think he mentioned PH and other stuff!) But when we snack on goldfish, apple juice, raisins or freeze pops and we do it throughout the day, the mouth does not have time to "recover" so to speak and the sugar sits on the tooth surface and well, you all know the rest!

Thanks for caring everyone! And you should SEE his smile now - how darn cute.
